Spill Your GUTS is the segment used to introduce each contestant at three different points of each episode— the blue player is introduced following the first event (after the episode's event lineup is announced in Season 3), the red player is introduced following the first commercial break (after the Mike & Mo Halftime Show in Season 3) and the purple player is introduced following the third event. In all seasons except Global GUTS, the contestant's age is also shown.
Season 1
Mike briefs us on the contestant's interests and hobbies, as well as their accomplishments and also reveals a fun fact about them.
Season 2
Moira briefs us on the contestant's interests and hobbies, as well as their accomplishments and ends each segment by mentioning what they think having GUTS equals to them.
Season 3
In a prerecorded interview, the contestant introduces themselves and reveals their interests, hobbies, accomplishments, why they're excited to be on the show and/or usually also gives a shout-out to their friends and family back home.
